What Did You Get For Christmas?

I had a very lovely Christmas this year and one of my gifts that is very special to me is this blog.  Let me just say, I follow a lot of blogs.  A lot!  My hubby and kids tease me about it often.  I first started with an author who I like to read.  She has a funny daily blog on her website.  But that was really the only one for a long time.  Then while visiting my sister, she showed me a blog that did a bit about organization.  When I got home I started to following it.  Slowly I started clicking some of her favorite blogs on the side of her website and before I know it I had a long list of favorites saved.    Hubby said I should start a blog. My sister has also told me to start a blog too.  However working a full time job and having a hubby and kids, time just did not seem to be there to start up a blog.  I was just happy stalking my favorites.   

But there I was opening one of the last gifts of the Christmas morning.  My kids so excited about giving me this gift.  I could see it in their eyes.  I opened the little tin they wrapped.  Inside, on a piece of paper was written all the information I would need for this blog, password, URL and more.  Yup!  My kids had set up this site.  They gave it the name, which is an family inside joke and may change later. 

So here I am trying get started up.  I don't know how often I will post and I am not sure what I will talk about.  Probably just random stuff for now and maybe a recipe or two thrown in. 

We will see how it goes.  This little experiment of mine.  It will probably end up being more of a journal of mine.  I will flip if someone other than family starts following this.  Oh I should warn you that I am a terrible speller and writer. So bare with me.  I just sort of type whats in my head.  Proper grammar or not.
